Portrait Shoot

The story of love between a Mother and Daughter.

Bowden Family

Baby bump and mum to be.

I had the honor of doing a maternity photo shoot with Kezia on Sunday. She doesn't have much longer to go before she gets to meet her little princess. Her belly is so beautiful. We managed to catch some beautiful light and work with light flares. Leon even managed to join us for a few photos. My favourite maternity photos are the ones with the kitty and the little booties.

Nicole's HOPE photo shoot

Nicole contacted me a couple of months ago and asked me to do a portrait photography shoot for a new season in her life. She decided that the theme would be HOPE. I found this definition on line. Hope is the confident expectation of future events based on the promises of God. At the start of the portrait photo shoot I gave Nicole some direction on posing and positioning of the body to get the best pictures.  She put everything she learnt into practice to get some amazing photos. We shot at 2 different locations. The first under the bridge and the second in my favorite park on the North Shore. Thank You to my amazing assistant Janai who assisted with setting up lighting and props. I hope you enjoy the photos.

Tayla Marchant

Little miss Marchant was a pleasure to do a baby photo shoot for. She is a beautiful combination of her parents. I love her olive skin and her dazzling big eyes.  She had the coolest room with beautiful pink butterflies, and wow her collection of hats was impressive. Thanks guys for having me photograph your princess.

Janai Portrait shoot

Being a portrait photographer for Janai was easy. Janai has beautiful eyes, a gorgeous smile and was tons of fun to shoot. We did this shoot at a park in Hillcrest. I love the natural tones and how the blue top draws out the colour in her eyes.
