I photographed Christine and Kevin's wedding a couple of years ago so it was such a treat to spend some time with them in Christchurch. We snuck up to the port hills for this little shoot. It looks warm but it was actually freezing. You guys are awesome. Enjoy
eeek I have been wanting to post this gorgeous wedding for a while. These two celebrated their wedding their way. Its often tricky planning a wedding from overseas but with the help of some awesome vendors the day went off without a hitch. Here is a littee slice of Jason and Jess’s amazing wedding.

"I would never be happy with anyone else as long as you walked the earth" Downton AbbeyCam and Eva had the most beautiful wedding day. Eva styled it to perfection and collected the gorgeous vintage crockery over the last 2 years. There was awesome music, lots of laughter and excellent food. Here is a little sneak peak of the day.
Mini Session Terms & Conditions December 14th, 2014 1. These mini sessions will take 15 minutes. Please be on time and ready to be photographed from your agreed booking time. The Family must be no greater then 5 people. Directions to the location will be emailed to you.
2. To secure your desired date, the session retainer of $50 must be paid within 3 days of requesting the booking. The session retainer is non-refundable except for weather conditions as detailed in 3. Bank account is 12-3053-0591637-00. Your booking is not confirmed until this has been paid. 3. The retainer is non-refundable in the event of cancellation. In the event of bad weather, Lavara will re-schedule the session. If that date is not convenient for you then a refund will be provided. 4. If the Client fails to arrive at the session location promptly at the time of the session appointment, the session may be shortened as to not cut into the next scheduled mini session. 5. The Photographer will capture the best images seen by her on the day and as such is not responsible for missed detailsor particular kinds of image not advised to the Photographer during the 15minutes to the session. Bearing in mind that these are 15 minute sessions so if your child is not super smily or takes a while to warm up then we are unable to be held responsible for this.
6. A link to download 40 edited digital images will be delivered to the client within two weeks of the session date. The photographer has complete discretion as to which 40 images to edit and deliver. Upon delivery of the images to the client, all other images will be deleted. The photographer will not provide other images or unedited images to the client.
7. The Photographer grants the Client full rights to reproduce photos. Client may print an unlimited number of images with the printer of Client’s choosing. The Photographer retains copyrights of all images and may use images for promotional purposes.
8. The Photographer will not be held responsible for any injury accident, illness or other harm caused to the Client and or the Client’s family before, during or after the photography session.
9. The Photographer is not responsible for loss or theft of the Client’s personal property or the personal property of the Client’s family.
What an amazing day for a gorgeous couple.I will let the photos tell the LOVE STORY.
So I have been a little quiet for a while. THe main reason for that is that we have spent the last 3 weeks in the jungles of PNG.My parents, Grandmother and Aunty are volunteirs there. They run an awesome hospital in the middle of the swamp. It rained and rained and rained but overall we had a very special trip spending time with my family. Thought I would share some photos from our adventures.

Here is a fun little shoot we did recently. So much fun and a perfect sunset.
Jaclyn and Ross were married on one of the wetest days of the year. It was the end of a cylcone and wow did it pour. Looking at these photos though I bet you couldn't tell.The sunshine came out at 4.30pm just in time for some late afternoon sunset shots. Congratulations Ross and Jaclyn on an amazing day.
Niki and Taylor said their I Do's at the epic grounds of Brookgreen Park. It was the perfect afternoon light when they were married under a gorgeous floral arch with vintage school seats for the guest to sit on.They proceeded to a lovely afternoon tea where they celebrated with family and friends. Congratulations guys on an amazing day.

Sheena and Andy tied the knot in February at the amazing Abbeville Estate. It was a whirl wind romance that brought them together for one of the most amazing wedding days ever. Sheena arrived on time much to Andy's relief. She whispered sweet words to her parents before she was walked down the aisle by them both. A sweet ceremony concluded with hugs and high fives with the guests. Not needing to travel far the bridal party enjoyed homemade lemonade and sweet treats. They partied up a storm late into the night. Sheena and Andy you guys are an inspiration in so many ways. Enjoy a little sneak peek of the day.
